The Minnesota Chapter of the National Football foundation was chartered in 2007 and has since become one of the fastest growing chapters in the nation. The chapter's mission is to serve Minnesota and the nation by developing leadership, sportsmanship, competitive spirit, and academic excellence in America’s youth through promoting amateur football.
I began my involvement with NFF-MN in the fall of 2011. Since then, I have assisted the chapter in a variety of capacities, including creative production and event coordination, in addition to aiding in public relations efforts. As the chapter continued to grow through 2012, I became more involved in the strategic growth of the organization, which included helping develop a premier partnership agreement between the organization and the Minnesota Vikings, the first of its kind among National Football Foundation chapters. In 2012, I was made the chapter's volunteer Communications Director, serving under chapter President Sean Gothier. In this capacity, I continue to develop creative assets as well as write press releases for the organization and manage its website and other digital properties.
