I began an internship with the University of Denver Athletics Department in the summer of 2009. I was given the opportunity to work with Angel Field, who coordinates much of the gameday experience activities. Most of my work for Ms. Field dealt with "Stub Club." Stub Club is essentially a loyalty rewards program for students at DU who attend the school's basketball team's games. The program gave different incremental rewards based on the number of either men's or women's games attended.
I was given the task of designing the rewards card that students were issued when they signed up for the program. The card was the size of a normal business card and was designed to be easily carried around by students. Pictures of the card can be found in the photo gallery below.
I also created several promotional pieces for the department. These included a t-shirt giveaway for Stub Club. These designs can also be found in the gallery above.
Finally, I was given the task of creating fliers to be posted on campus for each of DU's revenue-generating sports. In order to accomplish this task, I worked extensively in Photoshop to create the main image, then created a Microsoft Word template. Creating a template for each flier allowed the same basic flier to be used for each advertising campaign without having to do a complete re-design. These fliers have been posted around campus at several times throughout the 2009-10 school year. They can be seen in the photo gallery below.
